I think this is great, people seem to hate gulls, but their call is also a big part of the seaside experience, and maybe it could bring them a bit more love!
One reason why some people don't like them is because they swoop down since people started feeding them, which isn't the fault of the gulls.
I love the sound that says you have arrived by the sea. I remember when I lived near the sea someone moving there and complaining about their sound.
I live inland now and black headed gulls can be heard sometimes, as they feed on green areas. This however is unlike the seaside where I think the herring gulls and ..black backed gulls are probably louder. The sound of gulls is more appealing than the numerous wood pigeons.
