Things that go bump in the night!

Or rumble.

No I'm not suffering from a haunting, but my cat Muriel pulling the drawers open under my bed. She does this most nights, she opens one drawer and then pushes open the one on the other side and hops in and out. I wondered what on earth was happening at first, why were the divan drawers always open in the morning, then as I was going to bed one night, Muriel came in and opened the drawers.

When I put the chickens to bed at least one has to have a goodnight cuddle, they want to be picked up and told how nice they are and goodnight. They crouch down, holding their wings back and give little flaps like chicks to tell me they want a cuddle. For creatures without much of a face they're very expressive, if I'm in thier part of the garden I often look down and theres a chicken by my feet staring at me wondering what I'm doing.
