Lost the battle of cleaning some of my lego:-(

About 8 days I went to the antique centre (a former bewary warehouse); where I bought random pieces of lego, 600g for £6. I'd got absolutely loads.

I'd taken off the stickers and tried everything to remove the stickiness (soaked in washing up liquid with water and sellotape);

I don't like giving up and chucked it in the bin.

Do you have any ideas?

I've got loads of lego anyway

Frustrated. :-(

  • Can you handle white spirits? You have to be careful with it, but a tiny bit on a paper towel takes off stickiness from stickers really well, and then just wash the Lego in soapy water to get rid of the residue/smell afterwards.  But do be careful and always read the safety instructions, and it does smell very strongly.
