A new way of 'burial' - human composting

Or one could simply opt for green / natural burial where the body is wrapped in a shroud or placed in a biodegradable coffin (e.g. wicker) and a sapling is planted over the site of the burial.

I think I've heard of that, is that a woodland burial? I think they have them in some places in Europe?

I would like to think the woodland created would then get some protection from being dug up for things like HS2. Even in death you could protect a forest.

You would then have a tree you'd nourish, like becoming an Ent.

Yes, woodland burial is another name for it. There are woodland burial sites throughout the UK. The St Albans Burial Trust has an (incomplete) list.
