Thank God I got a tonne bag of logs, six or seven weeks ago, after noticing how dear a daily bag was worth. It was, truly, a road to Damascus.

    It's blowing quite hard here, but then it happens so often now I'm fairly used to it and plan around it.

    I think governments both national and devolved should have done something years ago to help people move away from oil heating and LPG too. I remember the cost of logs and coal too, one of the things I found was how poor the quality of so many big log deliveries were. It all looked good on top but at the bottom was always some stuff that was hard to chop up and didn't burn properly.
