Easter holiday treats - please share you pics and experiences

I was paid early so bought extra treats for Easter. I'm trying to pluck up nerve to use my new Instant Pot. I haven't used a pressure cooker for decades, since the time there were little weights you put on top and few safety features. I'm planning some kind of chicken curry, then an enhanced version of Knickerbocker Glory. The tiffin was yummy - all gone now Blush but I've enough ingredients for a small one.

Do share foodie pics and your Easter/bank holiday treats. Do you send cards? Are you expecting family or friends? What are you going to do? It's nice to share these things.

  • Hi   this morning, I drove to a nearby village bakery and bought a dozen of their amazing Hot Cross Buns - an annual tradition!

Have sent a few cards to friends and family. No visitors expected over the weekend.

Have now washed both cars too.

If it's dry, I have a lot of weeding and tidying planned in the garden, plus trips to the tip.

If it's wet, there's paperwork to follow up and file, and more Spring cleaning and decluttering, and therefore a trip to the charity shop. Note to self - must not buy anything!

Either way, there will be dog walks, fetch games, etc. and plenty chance to enjoy Spring flowers, lambs and blossom.

Hope to sit under my favourite ash tree in the churchyard for some contemplative moments. And I will no doubt find some creative reason to end up in a café with my dog...

One of my favourite treats! I had the Tesco St Clementine ones and they were deliciously citrus flavoured.

    washed both cars

Very virtuous! I've booked a full service and my garage collects and delivers, a very useful thing.

Spring cleaning and decluttering, and therefore a trip to the charity shop.

It's amazing how much you can get rid of _ I think it's about 8 cars full over the last 6 months. Feels great doesn't it? I like watching Stacey Solomon and her team, which is very inspiring. I love Dilly's storage ideas but think for me its a bit over organised.
