Easter preparations - the Knickerbocker Glory

I found two huge trifle glasses from a charity shop [20p the two], so had a trial run of Knickerbocker Glory for Easter [see below].

What have you planned for this holiday? Any special treats - bought or made? What are you looking forward to the most?

Mine comprises: ice cream, clotted cream, mini marshmallows, merangues, banana, grapes, squirty cream, dessicated coconut. For Easter, Illl add chocolate sauce & forest fruit coolis.

  • Trifle looks lovely, and a great bargain with the glasses! I'd never think to put coconut in there, but it sounds like a good addition. 

    I have no culinary plans for Easter. Someone at work is going to have their first barbecue of the year, instead of a traditional roast. I thought this was a nice idea, but quite weather dependent!
