Easter preparations - the Knickerbocker Glory

I found two huge trifle glasses from a charity shop [20p the two], so had a trial run of Knickerbocker Glory for Easter [see below].

What have you planned for this holiday? Any special treats - bought or made? What are you looking forward to the most?

Mine comprises: ice cream, clotted cream, mini marshmallows, merangues, banana, grapes, squirty cream, dessicated coconut. For Easter, Illl add chocolate sauce & forest fruit coolis.

Yes, you too,  . In a way, I envy you. It's very hard deciding what to buy and I sometimes plan things then don't want to eat them. If you have narrow choices, it makes life far easier. If I make things like chilli, I could eat it over 4 days and be content, so maybe I need to narrow down a bit.

  • They're selling roasted crickets in Sainsbury's but I'm not rushing to try one.

    I'm a bit hopeless with food M.

There are so many things I don't like the taste, look or texture of and this has been the case since I was a small child (although I have had pica).  I was probably more likely to eat non food items.

I don't eat meat, only eat cod in batter (although even when eating that I think of the living being that was) and I don't like much veg or fruit so I tend to eat the same foods most of the time.

I'm glad you enjoy your food so much and cooking - I enjoy reading your threads about this.

    Wishing you a good Easter.
