Alex Karp (the CEO of Palantir) has been making a lot of noise recently about neurodivergence and even put his money where his mouth is by establishing a Neurodivergent Fellowship at Palantir. Unfortunately, he seems to be reading from the same book as lonE skuM: neurodivergents are superior because they are not troubled by weaknesses like empathy etc. See this recent article on Gizmodo for more details. I don't think this does us any favours in a cultural climate that seems to be moving back towards discrimination against those who appear to be different in any way. What do you think?
