Hi everyone
I liked watching the new Dr.Who episode, did anyone else watch it? Also what did you think?
I started watching Doctor Who in the first episode with Rose, and I kept watching until the Clara episodes made me realize how downhill the show's gone. As far as I'm concerned, Doctor Who ended a while ago. The new episodes aren't good enough to count.
Been a fan myself for over 20 years now - must have spent well into four figures on it. Anyone here like the Big Finish audio plays?
Hmmm im not too sure about the story line to bring him into it. But as the Dr i think he was fantastic i wasn't too sure about him before i watched it. It took me a while to get used to Matt Smith.
Little un is Dr who mad and now has a Tardis bedroom door!!
Hi again. I think the R T Davis yrs were def the best. It's not the same without him. I liked it when the Dr + his companion returned to visit family. My fav companions were Rose + Donna. My fav enemies were the daleks + the "art deco" cybermen. I watched Torchwood but didn't think it reached it's potential. I liked Capt Jack in Dr Who. I'm hoping I'll enjoy this new series. I didn't really enjoy the Matt Smith yrs enough to always watch it.
Hi crystal I liked the new episode too. It's good to have a dr older for a change, since Matt. The same two Dr's are my favs as well! I first started watching dr who when he was on tv, so maybe that's why. I liked Eccleston's charctor and the same with David. I love R T Davis, his stories are so entertaining. I like watching Torchwood too, do u watch it? I'm not so keen on Moffat he's ok.
Hi Zatanna. I watched the new Dr Who + thought it was a good start, especially to introduce P Capaldi in the role. I'm ok with him being older + I liked the humour. I thought Steven Moffat + the production team seemed rather worried about having someone older in the part + kept returning to his age regularly to reassure us it was ok. This is despite him being 2000 yrs old or close to that. My fav Dr Who's are C Eccleston + D Tennant. I liked it best when R T Davis was in charge. I do think that some of S Moffat's stories are brilliant.
