I made a dozen mince pies then six jam tarts with the left over pastry. I had vague memories of getting up in the night several times. This morning there were 8 mince pies in the freezer and no jam tarts on the plate in the pantry. This keeps happening whenever I bake. Do you think it might be dormice or rats or spiders? Or perhaps I thought I made more but didn't. What a conundrum..
