Lost coursework in 2002

In 2002, I did a 12 week prince's trust programme.

I chosen to do some units for some qualifications during the programme. I can't remember what I'd chosen.

Unfortunately 3 of us had our folder of coursework taken by an "accessor" as the leaders said that ours was the best coursework.

I was told that the coursework folder would return to us when we're 21 years old by a taxi.

Years later, I'd emailed the prince's trust to find out about missing folder and no response.

Absolutely really naughty thing to do and unacceptable.

Think the coursework has been destroyed.

Basically be careful.

My advice is to photograph and scan everything when you're doing coursework

In my 40s now and wanting to make memories etc.:-(

  • It's sad when that happens. When my son was in nursery, they got library books and were meant to draw a picture from it in a jotter. My son doesn't draw much but did these amazing ones I wanted to keep, but we're told it was staying in 'his folder' for school. I never got that jotter back and I really wanted it as his drawings are rare -it's more his sister thing.

It's a sad feeling as you value those things which others probably didn't and threw away. I have his sister's one, and it would have been lovely to have the pair.

    Good advice.

Also, it is advisable to photograph and/or scan and/or copy all types of documents that may get lost in the post or elsewhere when they are out of your possession.
