Stones in my shoes

Why does it always feel theres a small alp when it's only a small piece of grit? Yes I know there's lots of nerves in the feet, but it feel out of all proportion to the problem. I don't know why, but I always seem to end up with stones in my shoes or boots, the same as I always end up with mucky splashes up the backs of my legs when I wal in the rain.

  • Yeah I have this problem too, and it’s so irritating. I have to keep stopping and emptying my shoe.

    I used to wear invisible socks, this seemed to make the problem worse. 

    Solution for me longer socks or flip flops (where possible) so the grit or pebbles can roll on through
