Stones in my shoes

Why does it always feel theres a small alp when it's only a small piece of grit? Yes I know there's lots of nerves in the feet, but it feel out of all proportion to the problem. I don't know why, but I always seem to end up with stones in my shoes or boots, the same as I always end up with mucky splashes up the backs of my legs when I wal in the rain.

I agree Marianne, some of us are "attractive people", anything that can fall out of the sky lands on us, if it comes up out of the earth it grabs us, I get stung and bitten all the time, I'm always covered in scrapes, bruises and puncture marks from thorns.
