We just finished series 1 after that other thread recommendation too. Really enjoyed it.

I don't think season 1 will last past tonight. Haha. I'm totally invested.

It's cool she is actually autistic and is the lead actor/co-creator. I like her hand stims, it's similar to what I do.

Yes absolutely. I think it's the right level of funny. It's not demeaning or offensive to either side but just hi lights some of the difficulties in a humorous way.

Yeah, definitely, I think it does a great job of portraying the experience in a way that's relatable but is also a light  entertaining show that should appeal to autistic and allistic alike. (Though I think you get more out of it if you are autistic as you can feel the reactions too!)

Although I would never have the confidence to speak my mind like she does, she does sum up a lot of my internal thinking.

I particularly like how they portray her being seen as the one that isn't being reasonable. Like in the first episode with the wedding announcement. When actually her thinking is way more rational than everyone else's. I feel like that pretty much sums up my life.
