What a morning!

As many of you know I'm not a morning person, so being woken up by really loud and persistant knocking in the door wasn't good. It was my elderly neighbour, asking if a large piece of plywood in his garden was ours? It wasn't, but I helped him to move it anyway, then went back to bed. I'd just about settled down, relaxed enough to go back to sleep, when Mum starts shouting that Fearn's caught a cat in the garden, so up I get again and put my wellies on to look for an injured cat, I didn't find one, but I did find Fearn with a scratch on her ear that was bleeding profusely, I spent the next 10 or 15 mins cleaning her up and stopping the bleeding.

Now although I'm exhausted I'm to scared to go back to bed in case it brings on another emergency and it's only 11:15am

  • What an exhausting morning, (and the neighbour might have waited till a more sociable time i.e. afternoon!) hope the animals are okay, not much you can do for the cat if you can't find it, hopefully it's returned to it's own home!

I think I'd stay up too at that point, not to risk bringing on a third thing as they say things happen in threes!
