I'm a little obsessed with anime and manga, so I thought to create a thread about it where you can discuss what you're currently watching/reading, what your favourite series are and recommendations! 

I recently finished Demon Slayer, I thought it was pretty good, one of the better new IPs to come out post COVID, and right now I'm watching Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (since I loved Cardcaptor Sakura so much, I HAD to check out something that was basically an AU of it!)

  • I think there have been quite a few posts on this subject but I enjoy a good anime discussion.

    I'm a little behind with demon slayer. I love the art style of it, especially the water breathing effects.

    If you like a good comedy one, have a look at love is war. Usually I leave people to decide for themselves subbed or dubbed, but on this one I recomend the dub. The narrator is amazing and if you find clips on youtube you'll think it's an abridged version. I find it can be quite relatable too.

    There's also bocchi the rock which is rather funny/relatable and is interesting in how it switches between art styles.

    Yes, I love Bocchi the Rock!! The use of mixed media in the animation is really fun, and yes, Bocchi is indeed relatable lol. 

    I have been curious about Love is War, the last rom-com I saw was Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions (which also has an amazing dub, btw)
