To iron or not to iron - that is the question

I used to iron far more when I was younger. I sometimes feel guilty because I rarely iron bedclothes - I don't know why as I'm the only one in the house! I usually iron tops and trousers but not household linens. A friend used to iron her underwear and even shoe laces! What do you think? Is it lazy not to, or is it foolish to worry about something so trivial? Does this represent dignity or wasting valuable life-time?

  • I don’t iron anything, the ironing board is hanging in the garage and gone rusty.
Most of my clothes are made from material that doesn’t crease much, in the winter most stuff is tumble dried and then folded while it’s still warm. The only item I won’t fold is fitted sheets, they are the devils work. To be honest I spent most of my time in old work clothes.
