To iron or not to iron - that is the question

I used to iron far more when I was younger. I sometimes feel guilty because I rarely iron bedclothes - I don't know why as I'm the only one in the house! I usually iron tops and trousers but not household linens. A friend used to iron her underwear and even shoe laces! What do you think? Is it lazy not to, or is it foolish to worry about something so trivial? Does this represent dignity or wasting valuable life-time?

  • Ironing shoe laces! I think thats a bit OCD personally.

    I don't iron bedding, I did when I worked at the retreat/B&B, you sort of have to in those cirumstances

    In summer I wear a lot of linen and that has to be ironed, but the rest of the year I don't and never underwear, I don't see the point, and who wants creases up their creases!
