Who's got snow?

Unusually we have at this end of the island, it's usually the north and eastern bit of the island that get it, we're mostly to near the sea and the gulf stream, but nt this time, apart from not liking driving in a snow shower, I quite like it. Fearn dosen't though, we've had a lot of hail and she's like,'why is the sky throwing hard stuff at me?' She's staying on the sofa with her legs crossed and dosen't even want to go out and do her business!

  • Miaow, TheCatWoman,

we have had snow and temperatures down to -10 which felt raw when outside gritting. As to driving, well have Land Rover so more of a case where do I want to go? Having fitted a diesel heater means I can simply press a button and watch it defrost, no scraping! Nor do I have to leave the engine running to keep warm, so nice to be able to climb in to a warm cab.

  • It's all gone now, it thawed overnight, we've got a cold wind, but it's much warmer than yesterday.

I had a wander up the garden last night, just for the fun of stepping on new snow, I felt like Father Christmas (minus the presents).

Muriel cat was funny, it's the first time she's seen snow and didn't like it, it stuck to her paws and was slippery, she did that funny cat walk, of picking her feet right up and shaking each one before putting it down again, looking disgusted all the while.
