PIP claim rejected

Recently I filled in a PIP claim form sent it off and waited three months for an assessment.

I had the assessment and I asked for them to send me the assessment report before I received the letter to find out if I was awarded PIP or not.

Now I was diagnosed in 2019 with my Autism through the NHS but I never saw the point in claiming for PIP as I never needed the money.  But recently I have been struggling with my mental health and thought any payments would come in handy so I could pay for a private psychologist to help with my problems.

I feel that because I hold a professional driver's license and can complete my job on a daily basis even though I often crash and burn when I get home that I've been completely fobbed off.  I read that even air pilots can claim PIP if they needed to, but because you can hold a job down they tend to not recognise your daily struggles so I've read.

I have suffered all my life with anxiety, worry etc I'm on meds to combat this and yes they don't affect my driving ability and the DVLA know all the meds I'm on before anyone questions of legalities.

I struggle with motivation to bath due to exhaustion at home,  often go into shut down mode and my wife shouts at me for not helping around the house.  I have a bad habit of eating too much chocolate to make me feel better.  My daughter asks why I wear the same clothes when I pick her up from school etc.

Anyway these daily problems were mentioned and lots more and basically in the report it said because you do this for a job cognitively you don't seem to have any problems to which I was disgusted.

It's not about winning the claim now that I'm thinking of appealing it but more to get my point across of my daily struggles.

Question for anyone getting this far have you had a similar result and did you appeal it or not.  I scored 0 points for anything I'm truly shocked.
