It is a nice day, at least here. The sun is out and highs of 28C with occasional showers are forecast so nice to be out and about - not too hot.

28.C!?! That's way to hot for this pale northern flower, who would wither and die if left out in that heat.

My morning was taken up with having a new hob fitted, but, it's great, nothing slides about and the rings all work properly.

For once no rain, So much of the island is flooded, it's hard to find places to walk with my dog.

I am going to spend the weekend prioritising rest. These last months, have been exhausting. I haven’t had real time for myself to sit and do nothing. It has taken a toll on me this week. So, I am enjoying some hobbies today.

I have had a couple of wins already, and it is only the morning. I have had a lovely breakfast, written a poem, and now I will have a warm shower.
