What's your favourite, cheapest home-made meal?

In these economically tight times.... Mine is 1/2 tin of Tesco Stockwell beans [28p a tin] + 1 slice of Tesco white toastie [0.75p loaf] = 14p + 5p = 19p.

Sometimes I push the boat out and eat 2 slices .

I make my own brown sauce, a damson ketchup and a green tomato one, which has the best of brown sauce and tomato ketchup.

I wish I could eat cheese on toast again, I've become dairy intollerant and cheese is a no no for me now.
