Pip assessment

I had my telephone pip assessment this morning.

It went badly, so no extra money.

One unusual feature that others should be aware of, is that from some of the things they asked me, it was obvious that they had access to my previous pip assessment that I did over six years ago.

They promised me a decision in around eight weeks.

I am sorry that your PIP assessment did not go well. I know that these appointments can be stressful for many of our community.

In case the decision is not positive, I have linked some information on how you can appeal: Challenging a PIP decision - appealing against the decision - Citizens Advice -the Citizens Advice also have trained advisors and centres across the UK that may be able to give further support.

The NAS also have some guidance on PIP and other benefits that may be helpful: Financial help, money and benefits
