Great idea, shame it's "Your Party", politically I'm left wing, but I cannot bring myself to vote for any party that has Corbyn in any leadership role and I'm dubious about Sultana too.
If they do as they promised to do and make it properly democratic, then the leaders will be effectively just figureheads, so whatever is your beef with Corbyn ought to fall away. However it seems that most of the problems it has had so far are because they are trying to stitch up control of the party...
It's a big IF though, isn't it? I don't trust Corbyn and his ilk, they talk a good game, but scratch the surface and it starts to look authoritarian, all this talk of the "working classes", this isn't the 1970's and 80's, there isn't a huge unionised manufacturing base any more. So who exactly are the working class now?
Corbyn's spat with Sultana earlier in the year just shows that they'll fight amoungst themselves like rats in a sack, it's always soe form of Monty Python's Life of Brian, and The Peoples Popular Front for Judea, no it's the Judean Peoples Popular Front....Splitters

Who is the '..young lady..' you refer to?
Zarah Sultana.
I think there was such a thing as the working class, years ago,
Oh certainly there used to be, but now we have got the Ruling Class, and everybody else.
Referring to "The Working Class"only serves to acknowledge the Ruling Class, and divide themselves from everybody else.
Exactly, it's a myth, but one which the likes of Corbyn cling too, I think there was such a thing as the working class, years ago, back before heavy and many light industries were destroyed. But what has replaced those jobs are mostly office based, people don't really think along class lines like they used too. There are probably to many people like me, who grew up in what could be described as genteel working class home, surrounded by very working class people at school, but left school with nothing but bad memories and trauma, but since went to get a skilled trade, (hairderssing) and then a degree. I don't think I fit into Corbyns class system and I'm sure there are many others like me, I don't think there are many what used to be called middle class anymore either, we've sort of blended into one with the extremes of the poverty stricken and the very wealthy at either end.

The working class are a myth: just a social construct to cause division.
I don't have much confidence, but I haven't given up hope yet: the young lady seems sincere, if misguided, and with all the furore, they are really going to have to try hard to make a show of democracy and people have already seen through their usual pretence...
They wrote to me recently appearing to offer three months free membership, though I think they didn't intend to: their wording is ambiguous. I've written back to take them up on it: I can't complain that they're doing it wrong if I don't go in and tell them.
