Recent diagnosis, GP is not helpful

In the summer I tried contacting my GP using the online NHS app to ask about getting a referral for a diagnosis. I did this twice and they never acknowledged my requests , nothing, I asked them direct questions. Anyway I decided to look into getting a private diagnosis ( the Adult Autism Practice in Ireland) . So I get a diagnosis and my paperwork and took a paper copy  to the doctors and asked them to put it on my medical record. This was two weeks ago.
It’s not shown up on my medical record , apart from a note saying it’s been scanned and filed. I would have thought a copy of the diagnosis would have been put on my nhs app so that I can see it and medics can see it ? Idont have a great deal of GPs so don’t really know Expressionless

  • Is all of your medical record visible on NHS app? Mine only shows certain information like vaccines and medication. I'd have to request at GP surgery to have the details of my record visible. But my diagnosis is visible on GPs screen if I actually go to GP. Just wondering if there may be a limitation on what is visible to you and perhaps it is on your medical record for professionals?

I've never tried contacting my GP using NHS app so I don't know what that service is like or whether all GP surgeries use it. So I can't really comment on them not responding to that.
