Perils of changing a duvet cover

My heart sinks every time I change a duvet cover. I swear duvets have malicious AI inside, with instructions to turn inside out, the wrong way around or bunch in one corner. I tried approaching the duvet with caution, cover inside out, then quickly 'flip' it over. Then I discover the long side is on the short side.. Any one have insider information?

  • Lay the duvet out flat and fol the top two corners in a bit.

Turn duvet cover inside out and put you arms inside, I do this by folliowing one seem along the long side and then grab the corner and find the oposite corner with the other hand.

With your duvet covered hands grip each of the turned in corners and shake the duvet cover down over the duvet.

There will be a bit in the middle that seems stuck, pservere

Grab hole of the bottom corners of the duvet and insert into the bottom corners of the cover, do it up and holding it by the bottom corners give it a good shake to settle it down. I then go to the opposite end and grab the upper corners and shake again.
