Plannning for Christmas

I like planning everything to keep from boredom or excessive negative thinking, as I live alone.  Last year I bought a half-price Tesco Christmas tree with roots (newly in - so I don't know why they half-priced them, at £12). I'm happy to say the tree has put on 25mm (1" in old money). I water it regularly, feed occasionally with bonsai food. It looks great with ferns and primula in a damp part of the garden. I planted it out in a new air pruner pot (www.futuregarden.co.uk/air-pot-air-pruning-plant-pots ) . I'inside a grey container. I'll bring it indoors a couple of days before Christmas. It will need a slightly larger pot than the red plastic it came in. I would love to hear any tips for enjoying Christmas. I like to keep mine going until Candlemas (2 Feb) because you get treats for longer that way :-)
