It's done it again, I start a search on Amazon and find it's taken me back to a previous but related search WHY, WHY, does it do this? How dare this supposedly unthinking pile of offal, think that it knows what I want, when I've told it something different? It's like an abusive relationship! I feel like it's gaslighting me.

A major supermarket tried to rip me off earlier too, it had an alleged special offer 4 for £5, and despite having lables confirming this on the shelf, it didnt' at the till, so I challenged them and a supervisor had to go and check and she came back equally confused, but put my stuff through at 4 for £5 as the signage was so unclear and confusing. It feels like a deliberate attempt to get people to buy more than they would if it wasn't on offer, this supermarket has form for this, which is why I always check to make sure. Ggggrrrrr.

I did buy a pretty bush half price in another shop, about the same as the money I saved on the other stuff.

  • Was meant to have a beanbag delivered yesterday but no one had buzzed my flat number and didn’t even see a courier outside

    No one bothering to bring my mail up but they take each others mail up so I feel like I’m left out (I’m on middle floor) I wouldn’t expect anyone downstairs to bring up but the people on my floor or the floor above take all but my mail to whoever the mail belongs too, yes I sound a diva but I do feel like what’s wrong with me and I have brought everyone else’s mail and even giant parcels up hmmph! Also my door is taking damage because of the brats who hate me next door! What is wrong with me? I can’t help the way I look or sound. Also got upset and cried and downstairs came up and knocked to see what was going on so I felt really embarrassed. I mean ok she could be making sure that I’m ok and wanted to make me feel better but the thing is I feel embarrassed that she heard me

    You sound as though you're feeling really isolated. I think your neighbour did want to check that you were OK and I get that it's embarrassing, but it could be good to have a friendly neighbour.

    Some couriers are totally useless, I've seen someone outside of the door and gone to see whats going on and theres a courier photographing a parcel that they've not even tried to deliver, not only do we have a loud knocker, but Fearn barks when there's someone at the door. I think you need to complain to the company you bought the bean bag from about the courier so as they can take it up with them, do you know where your parcel is now?

    Yeah the lady downstairs wasn’t worried but she just felt bad because I was upset and as I live alone I guess she just wanted to give me some support and comfort which I appreciate, but yeah the embarrassment of being heard lol. See I haven’t been in my flat that long compared to everyone else so I defo feel left out and isolated. 

    Tell me about the couriers! I ordered off Amazon but they have used dpd instead and I have had issues with dpd since moving here. They don’t even take a picture of the parcel they just say they tried and failed, like yeah right. The parcel is back at the warehouse now and is apparently going to get delivered to my mum tomorrow instead. I mean it is a big parcel so I guess it can’t be left outside especially with a block of flats and both doorways are narrow so I guess it would block the ways but the thing is he never even buzzed and I didn’t even see a van outside so yeah. Just hope I don’t have this issues with my Kirby game and plushy I preordered.
