Hi so I have a social worker and last week I senta few to many email and texts after a panic attack and out of the blue I got this on Tuesday from her manager.... 

'Hi Megan, 

I am really concerned at the volume and tone of emails and texts that you have sent to Jackie recently. It is not Jackie's role to respond to this extent, and I have asked her not to reply. I have to carefully consider the effect on staff of such a level of contact and the effect on all the other clients. I no longer think it is helpful to you to continue to work with Jackie as you have a lot of other support already and I will close our team's involvement with you.
It is appropriate for you to contact these people rather than Jackie or any other worker.
I know you will be very upset about this but you have always known that Jackie's involvement needed to end at some stage and I now think you will be stronger without her.'


this has had a massive negative effect on me!!

    I know how you feel, my psychologist decided to leave her job role with me because she felt she wasn't helping me enough even though she never asked me. I understand when the refusal of further help can affect you it's a drastic change. However there are other options obviously it won't be easy to accustom to a new social worker however it may the best option. Just remember that you do have other help you can find if you desperately need it. I know it wasn't fair of them to spring this on you but try to be positive and thing at least one positive thought that there is help. :)
