The Guardian is reporting that Trump has just teased that he will be making an important announcement on autism tomorrow (quite how this was relevant in the middle of a eulogy for Charlie Kirk is not clear but that’s the Great Orange Blimp for you). Looks like we can expect mums taking paracetamol during pregnancy to be blamed and folinic acid to be touted as a cure.

  • The statements about the increase in the number of people with autism in my mind are based on incorrectly measured statistics. If you are measuring criteria related to different times, then you would need to have had the same proportion of people tested. 

    I am thinking about people from my past, that I believe had autism, but as there was little awareness they never knew or considered they were autistic.
