Trump on autism

The Guardian is reporting that Trump has just teased that he will be making an important announcement on autism tomorrow (quite how this was relevant in the middle of a eulogy for Charlie Kirk is not clear but that’s the Great Orange Blimp for you). Looks like we can expect mums taking paracetamol during pregnancy to be blamed and folinic acid to be touted as a cure.

  • Wow I thought Kier Strarmer was bad. But he’s nothing compared to trump. Why can’t people just respect others and just accept that we are all different. It’s not as if we were all made via a genesis chamber. Though I think I’d rather have general zod as a ruler compared to trump. I will be asking my mum how many times she took paracetamol 26 years ago. All I know is I was born early due to her complications but that’s why I was born early because she needed medication. Is being born earlier than due date a cause of autism or adhd?

  • I think Starmer means well, but is terrible at communicating, I suspect his government have done some good things, but we just don't get to hear about them, Labour won't blow it's own trumpet and a mainly rightwing media won't give him air time. Trump's a whole other level of bad, his speech at the UN was disgraceful, I wish the rest of the world would start to quietly sideline him.

I don't think being born prematurely causes ND's, lots of things do. I'm sure your mum didn't want to be so ill when she was pregnant with you.

  • Aww thank you for that, she actually said she sailed through having me but it was when she had pancreatitis that’s when I had to be born early. Apparently I was cared for very well whilst she was on this special medication and we were both out of hospital within the week.

I see what you mean with Starmer, he just doesn’t communicate the best, I always think he comes across a bit dozy at time too. But Trump, omg that UN message and ugh he just boils my blood so much! I think a lot of people are getting fed up with him though and he won’t be able to be president after his term is up but it’s having to cope for the time being which is the bad thing
