Does anyone use Vodafone broadband?

If so, are you having any problems with it?

There was an outage in our area yesterday and it went back on in the evening, but today it's been constantly dropping out. I did an online broadband test this morning and got a message saying it had been reported to an agent, but I've heard nothing from them. I have tried numerous times to chat online with someone, but the AI just keeps telling me nobody is available and to try again later. I think I'll have to do a dreaded phone call tomorrow if it's off again. Just as I thought all my broadband problems were over!

  • Did the dreaded phone call yesterday as was dropping out again. Been referred to Fibre City (?) and an engineer visit booked for tomorrow if they can't resolve it remotely.

  • It sounds like your broadband service is being provided by Vodafone over CityFibre's network:

    CityFibre - fault FAQs

This is just like when a phone and broadband provider (eg TalkTalk - and also Vodafone, for some of its other customers) sells services using Openreach's network (a different telecoms and internet infrastructure provider). All faults need to be reported by consumers to their provider, who can then book an Openreach engineer if necessary.

Vodafone has been working with CityFibre since 2017.

I hope they are able to resolve the issue for you.
