special interests -- stuck

I just retreat into a book, I can nearly always rely on a book to get me through a fug.

Sometimes I read a book, but other times i can lose my ability to concentrate on a book. So, I just listened to music instead.

I have this issue too. Sometimes books are my absolute saviour on a bad day. On others I can take in a single word.
