hi my 2 1/2 year old son has recently been diogniosed with autsim and im feeling abit lost and overwhelmed by it all. i knew this diognioses was coming but im feeling very unsure of what to do next. their isnt many people i know who i can talk to and i cant seem to find many people within my area with children around a similar age im sure their is plenty but it all seems over 5's any help would be amazing

thank you i am starting to get to grips with this site. ive been having a look around so hopfully il find some groups near me. my son is fine just being his normal happy self with a few melt downs along the way its just so frustrating waiting for all the help and support he needs so fingers crossed thank you again for your reply 
Hi - welcome to the site . It's gd that you got a diagnosis at such a young age. There are many posts on here from parents who feel like you do so have a look around + also check out the home pg if you haven't yet done so - lots of info + there might be some info on groups in your area. Sometimes googling will turn something up, if you haven't tried that. How's your son doing?
