I’m 48 and have recently been diagnosed with autism and autistic burnout. I’m feeling isolated and lonely, I’d like to make friends, especially as I have had to take most of the year off sick due to the burnout. Would like to make friends whether that’s online or if anyone lives in my neck of the woods it would be nice to have people to meet up with.

I don't tend to do IMing or meeting up in real life, but look forward to getting to know you on here. 
I am 53 and my special interests are music, travel and understanding autism. I tend to come and go on the forum - I also have bipolar which means sometimes I go off-line for a bit - especially in the autumn and winter.
