Work flagged as plagiarised AI content when using speech to text app

So I use an app which converts my speech to text in an orderly fashion, it helps bullet it automatically and I use it to help make sure I have answered my course work questions fully.

After completing all of my units (seven in total which is the entire course load) and submitting them over the last few months, I have just been told my course work was flagged as AI generated.

I mentioned I used the app which is the only reason I could think of as to why this might happen, and they know I am autistic and have ADHD which is why I can submit in word document form instead of the online platform which was a huge blocker for me.

So now they are asking me to redo it all. I did ask if it was just this app or if it was all speech to text tools, and apparently I am permitted to use the MS word one, which is terrible in comparison and often gets it wrong.

All of the work is in my own words and I don't use any AI to generate content or answers, just convert my speech into text which I then copy and paste into a word document and reformat.

I am confused why I can use the same kind of tool in one app and not in another, does anyone else understand their reasoning?

I sent them a recording of how I use it so they can see first hand, but I was still told no and now they have asked to meet with me. I am really worried they are gong to kick me off the course and all of my months doing my work is going to be thrown out.

Have I missed something? Any help in understanding would be appreciated.

(I use the brainly app - free version and its the audio notes feature)
