Elite dangerous and elite series

Anyone else love the elite games? I had elite II frontier on Amiga and ive sunk hundreds of hours into elite dangerous on ps4 and Xbox one and I love the original tok I had that in nes never played the original on micro computers or the Amiga polygon version

I love doing cargo missions from station to station mostly but I do a bit of piracy and bounty hunting too im Basicly a no holds barred renegade rouge commander

  • I vaguely remember my ex-husband being glued to it, I tried to watch/join in, but it all seemed a bit boring to me, plus I never have got my head around controllers on any games system. I think I'm insufficiently competitive and bone and kidney to play games.

You're definitely not a fan, then, if you couldn't bear to continue living with an Elite player!

Did it look a bit like this? Then you'd buy and sell your cargo to make money for bigger lasers. I can't imagine why you wouldn't have been hooked! Stuck out tongue winking eye

It even appeared on a stamp (BBC)!

  • Yes thats the one I remember, but as I said I never got my head round the controls.

Have you ever wondered what it's like for someone married to someone who is constantly glued to a screen, who's idea of a good holiday was to buy a new computer game and sit there are play it 24/7 for a fortnight? Because I'll tell you, it's boring, there's no relationship , as a relationship is two people relating, and that dosen't happen when someone's so into a game. Me and the kids did everything alone or if we did manage to prise him away from the computer he did nothing but whine and complain. Both me and the kids ended up feeling little but contempt for him.
