Mortal kombat legacy Kollektion

Haven’t played it seriously since the mega drive and PlayStation 1 versions, those were the best in my opinion but the originals usually are. Mortal Kombat Trilogy on the PS1 I remember fondly with the option of more playable characters along with multiple graphic and amusing finishing moves.

Trilogy was Basicly ultimate 3 wirh all the stages bar 2 or two from l 1 and 2 and some new charicters and all the hidden ones and bosses playable for the first time or without codes for the first time and on n64 it had some tweaked stages

my faves are mk 1 in snes and Amiga mk 2 on of cd rom Amiga and mega drive 3 on mega drive ps1 and ms dos both trilogies and mk4 on pc cd rom some of these are nowhere near arcade perfect but worked so well wirh the sytem limitations although mk1 had multiple disk swaps over thr 2 discs on some Amiga models and 2 on Amiga despite being the lost fun for me had multiple swaps per loading section over 5 or 6 discs and the dos version crashed unless you loaded it off dos it never worked over windows at all 

mk x was bore der line wirh it’s realistic violence snd 11 and 1 whilst still fun took the story ro seriously and teahashe fall thr time travel stuff thats worn out and went too far wirh violence mk vs dc was thr last truely Amazing one I hope this collection a makes them do a second collection and b makes them go back to digitised actors for a full reboot

also I always get that way about digital stuff till I discovered dthe truth a disc is just a licence so you can lose the licence but only if you lose or dammage the disc similar really to if a dpunlisher revolves a licence

i like physics stuff so much becuase it’s more of an experiance that you can be aborned in Ben down to switching game or closing a book within a thud

I love retro game shops and rare consoles, would love a game room of my own one day. My first mobile was a chunky Motorola with an aerial, can’t remember the network but probably BT Cellnet or Orange? Possibly One2one. Then there were the Nokias with snake installed which was really popular at the time. The Nokia 3210 has interchangeable covers and flashing aerials you could buy for it, so many people had a Union Jack phone cover. I dislike digital downloads because you haven’t got a physical game to show or to hold so you don’t really feel like you own it. I have to agree with you that some decades feel better than others. I think being a naive teenager was bliss and having to try jump into the adult world just made life much less enjoyable. Perhaps I am longing for less responsibility and more freedom like I once had.

Is it nostalgia though nostalgia by nkt is often stated to be longing for a better time that wander actually better but for me the 2000s and 90a are better snd also older years(bad parts aside) seemed good tok give me the hulk 70s tv show all day long over the mcu films 

yes I am that sort of age and I love cb radios,am fm alsrm clocks, cd tale radio boom boxes, cd changer hi fis, crt TVs etc over any modern tech im tempted to get as well as a second work phone just for my music im tempted to get a third phone thats a modern take in the Nokia 3310 a ai live olde mobiles more thab new ones lol they R better dont U think lol I loved texting back then 

it also seems these days discovering hidden gem ganes is rarer as if you can find a game so can everyone else as they’re either digital or mass produced and end up being sold cheap to get rid of over stock where as back then they’d probably got sent back to publisher to be recycled fun fact I once returned a copy of gf7 that I got sealed for 1p from WHSmiths becuS ro though it had ff8 disc 1 instead of ff7 disc 4 lol ff7 was only 3 discs that ff8 was a demo and it’s a rare version of the game doh

You got a wealth of knowledge on these games, you must be of a similar age to me in your 30s? I’m still stuck on a constant need for nostalgia and trying to reenergise that excitement for old games. Luckily most of my favourites have been released as updated versions that are playable on newer hardware. I’m not a fan of online/multiplayer games, I am not very competitive and prefer a storytelling style of gameplay rather than leaderboards and statistics from other players. Feels quite lonely my interest in video gaming because I fear it’s seen as nerdy or a waste of time. It’s something I have always liked and can’t imagine never liking it, it’s as much a part of me as my legs and arms!

Mgs is actually the metal gear series as solid is really metal gear 3 and mgs comes before mg1 mgs v is the very first one 

resident evil has a prequel called zero and my fave is 8 I like the original take on tin in 1st person but the original 4 is Amazing but the survivor games at great too snd survivor 2 has nemesis in despite being based on code Veronica 

final fantasy was the last game by its creator so wasn’t ment to have sequel and I think the direct sequels were never as good nkt even advent children and I like them in this order 9 7 10 11 13 12 1 3 14 15 didn’t like the others as much and I love the spirits within movie even though it’s only losslet final fantasy as it has cud charicters and a chocoholic on one of the files lol 

tomb raider haha theres was a rumour as a kid you do like 59 back flips and go in the pool in Lara’s house to see her naked haha

myndave was 1 3 or revaluations though thr remakes are cool and I loved the films(not just because I fancied Angelina either haha my biggest crushes at that time were angalina jolie and Sophie Ellis bester) I loved Chris Barry as the butler and when I watched it wirh my mate and his dad I joked at the start hey you need to press triangle ro ready your guns

splinter cell I got into becuase block buster had a huge sale it’s a good stealth game as is sniper elite 

gta was actually a racing game but became a cops and robbers game and gta has a chsricyer called Claude speed and is the only game to be set in the fire in anywhere USA also he reson we never got a 3d London is becuase of the game the getaway whose logo and name are based on a unrelated movie

as a kid I was convinced the film grand theft auto was what the game was based on due to the dvd having Basicly a yellow gta logo(was just the gta 3 logo at the time) I played gar 1 for hours trying to get my fave car/“s(love the gras but 1 3 and 4 are the best folllwdd by 2 and london and then vice city and san Andrea’s 5 is my least fave it first person gta is cool) and also I played gta 3 for 6 hours streight when I first played it just exploring the huge map(or as I discovered it to be the small starter island which really is small now hahah)

I love video games I love gta but bully is even better as is red dead redemption which is a spin off from red dead revolver a game that capcomhalf finished and sold to rockstar and another open world cool cowboy game gun came out 

i also love the don Blueth ganes dragons lair and dove ace infact I love all laser disc games but the don blueth ones as well as mad dog McRae and space pirates are the best 

i also love tekken 1 2 3 tag 4 5(and it’s several ports) and I love the pap tekken 5 too oh and I live soul calibre ganes especially 4 5 6 and souls blade know  in USA as soul edge I’d say thats the best tbh 

You are a very knowledgeable person UNO. My favourite game series of all time are Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell, GTA, I’m sure there’s more but these are the main ones.
