Angels

Does anyone believe in angels?

What do you believe them to be?

What about nefilim, the half human half angel hybrids that the Great Flood from the bible was supposed to have wiped out?

I find the whole subject fascinating, quite a few cultures have angels in thier religious beliefs, some of them not from an Abrahamic tradition.

As someone said on another thread, do angels have the equipment to procreate?

Lucifer who was said to have been cast out of heaven by god along with his followers and went to hell and became the devil and demons etc, did hell already exist? Was it vacant when Lucifer took up residence there? A Lucifer figure appears in many religions and myths to, whats-his-face being punnished for giving humans fire and the other one who pushes a rock up a hill everyday only for it to roll back down every night and the one who has his liver pecked out by and eagle on a daily basis, why do we need these transgressive figures who appear to want to aid human development only to be punished by god who seemingly dosen't want us to develope?

There are also lots of myths about Watchers, Grigori and others who are the decendents of the Nephilim and keep watch ove rthe earth and certain individials and maybe bloodlines?

  • I personally believe in angels and God! I also believe they are workers for God who were born in Heaven I guess. I believe in guardian angels but I do believe humans who go to Heaven when the time is right don’t become angels themselves as apparently they are different specials but have human like forms plus the wings! However I’m worried I’ll be viewed negatively as I am left handed and I believe Lucifer is as well

  • You were made how god intended, do not worry about that. The fact you have faith is great, I wish I had more sometimes myself, it would be nice to rely on a greater power helping me a long the way.

  • Thank you! Aww I’m sure you will find a greater power to help you! I’ve always had faith but I feel I started to take religion more seriously a couple of years ago but I just kept reading the Bible stories and found Christian websites which helped me feel closer to God! Also a little prayer every now and then helps for me too!

  • Sorry to hear you’ve been having intrusive voices. I do hope you are able to find some inner peace one day soon Pray

  • Ahh ok. That’s sounds really nice too! Might have to try that myself if I eventually get one lol.

  • I used to use a pendulum to douse for essential oils to put into body lotions and shampoo's for myself and others.

  • Pendulum, that’s what they are called! Can’t believe I forgot that Joy my nan doesn’t have that anymore as she (and all of us) fell out with the ones who got her the pendulum and trust me it’s a blessing they fell out as I always hated them! I might get my own one at some point don’t know if they do online maybe haha. As for the quarts I have a rose quarts and green jade facial rollers and gua sha. Though lately I’ve not been using them due to the intrusive voices of this creep saying I’m not worth it etc

  • I have a pendulum myself and occasionally use it along with some crystals too. Quartz crystal is used in some watches too, I have a large piece I got from my local store, one of those shops that sells everything from incense sticks to large expensive dragon ornaments. The difference textures and vibrant colours of the crystals is mesmerising though, love it.

  • Well it’s good to keep an open mind. My nan used to have like some sort of quarts stone on a chain and if you asked questions and if the answer was yes then the stone would spin and if the answer was no it would stop. I remember asking questions which made the stone spin really fast and then when I asked it and the answer was no it just stopped suddenly. But there again I’d ask the same questions and sometimes the answers were different. But I don’t know if that’s because there were horrible relatives at the time when it didn’t spin and when I was alone it did spin. Like my guardian angel knew.

  • I’ve had some supernatural experiences and so has my family, they are all very into it so they are firm believers even if I am not 100 percent a believers myself. I keep an open mind to these things because I can never be sure I am certain. I’m also very superstitious and so respectful of things I do not understand.

  • Aww wow I would find that so soothing, say it’s like an outer world experience so who knowssmiling face with hearts I’ve been to one in London and two in Liverpool! All of which I’ve had this real tranquil feeling! If you ask me it’s like a part of Heaven is on earth.

  • I’ve been to Canterbury Cathedral while they had a choir there. Was quite a surreal experience hearing their voices echoing around and hearing them where ever you were in the cathedral.

  • I can understand that. Taking Christianity more seriously has opened up a more calming space and world for me. Like before I moved out my parents house I remember playing my switch each night and looking in the sky and feeling some sort of special energy. Same thing happens when I go to a cathedral, like I’ve escaped from the real world! But that’s me.

  • I envy those who are able to believe because it must open up the mind and soul to another world. I do think it’s a personal journey religion and everyone’s relationship with their god will be a special one. I’ve gone down the path of religion as a way to control the masses and this does make sense but the soul craves more than the physical realm.
