Fearn and I went to the beach earlier and had a good paddle and played on the seashore it was bliss and 3.C cooler than inland.

I'm a winter girl too, or rather any season but summer.
It's blisteringly hot today and last night was awful, even with my dog mat, it wasn't helped by being constantly woken up by dog's and cats wanting things.
Oof I’m sorry to hear that. I’m using my ice packs and headache ice hats to cool me down but they are warm in five mins. I feel I’m having my summer depression again

have you tried having a fan running on slow speed with a bowl of water in front of it so it blows wate vapour at you?
I live in a hot country (Brazil) so use this on the really hot nights.
Having a quiet fan and using a timer plug are very useful options otherwise it can dehydrate you if it is running all night.

Ah no I haven’t tried that, I will have to give that a go later. I used to have a fan that you fill a tray with cold water (which I’d put in fridge) and then the water vapour would spray but that broke but your idea sounds very similar. Thanks for the tip
