To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

more subscribers than views of posts

Hi

I've just put up a post and noticed that it quickly had 5 views and yet had 27 subscribers.

Can anyone tell me who or what these extra subscribers are please?

It might be that some folks have notifications turned on for all forums and messages, as the number of subscribers differs from topic to topic.

Thanks Hellboi87 I never considered that some users may be treating this forum in an attract followers fashion! Puts me in mind of the D&D I used to play when I was a kid.when non-player characters would be added to bulk up the numbers.. :-)
