Plushies!

Are there any plushie lovers here? Blush

I’ve always loved plushies. I love soft things in general as they don’t cause me sensory distress but plushies also look so cute, they’re lovely to hold, and to look at. I’ve been collecting them for a few years, some are pretty new and some are old dating back to the early 90s/2000s.

I collect the Ty Beanie Baby bears and loads of other soft toys.

This is Socks, my bunny rabbit plushie Rabbit

She’s also my comfort item. I take her everywhere with me as it makes me feel less anxious when I’m out. She accompanied me on my driving lesson a few years ago. The driving tester wasn’t judging or anything and put the seatbelt on her for me lol Laughing

I’m new here by the way. I thought this’d be a nice way of introducing myself and getting to know the community a little better Blush

  • He is adorable RabbitHeartpulse I have quite a large collection of plushies and teddies, perhaps a bit too large for my small room and bed to handle as my mum puts it Sweat smile

But there are two in particular who are incredibly special to me:-

The big guy on the left is Eeyore (though most if not all of you will know that, so forgive me for stating the obvious). I've only had him for a few years but he is one of the best and most essential presents I've ever received. Whenever I've felt my anxiety surface or had a meltdown or even just had a rough/bad day, he's been my go to for cuddles and a sort of a shoulder to cry on Heartpulse unfortunately I can't carry him around with when I go out as he's just too big but when I'm home he's a real comfort buddy and he gives the best hugs Revolving heartsBlush

And the cute little kitty next to him is Shadow. She's probably the oldest out of all my fluffy friends as I've had her since I was a little girl (But she's still in pretty good nick for her age Smile). She was a gift from my late papa (grandfather), I dressed up as a witch for Halloween disco at school and he got me Shadow to act as my little companionwoman mageblack catGrin I love her dearly as she one of the few things I have left from my sweet papa whom I still miss deeply every single day Sleepy that's why she's special to me and I will never part with her Heartpulse
