Everyone's suddenly 'Anti-War'.
This was Israel's War, they have the capability of sorting the Islamic Republic; on their own accord.
President Trump's hands were completely tied, by the Warhawk Neocons; and the Megalomaniac Democrats.
They want rid of the President, to push their surveilance agenda. (Digital ID/CBDC/Speech-Restriction)
Thinking before going to war is a good thing don't you think?
I think we've been scarred and scared of getting into another Afghanistan or Iraq and with good reason too, both took up hige amounts of resources and the death and injury tolls were vast. In the end it achieved nothing, the Taliban are still in charge and were able to just walk in behind the retreating Us and British forces.
I understand why Israel thought now was a good time to attack Iran, the Americans always seem to have to have some involvment in any war thats going on. I think it interesting that this strike from America was carried out soley from America, no overseas bases were used for refuelling or anything. Trump always said he didn't want to get dragged into any more foreign wars, so will this be the end of America's involvment, will they let the Israeli's mop up the rest of Iran's defences and military?
What does Israel actually want from a militarily weakened Iran? Obviously they want it to stop funding proxies to attack it, but I think there's more to it than that. What is Israel's exit plan, reduce it to rubble and then shoot civilians trying to reach food aid like it's doing in Gaza?
I wouldn't be surprised if Iran hadn't moved enough of it's equipment and materiel out of the known bases and will come back just as dangerous. If regime change is the aim, then people need to be careful what they pray for, we could end up with another Islamic State. The only people who can really effect regime change are the Iranian people without the "help" of foreigners. Iran must not be allowed to go the way of Iraq, with the US thinking that once Sadam was gone the county would suddenly behave like a Disney film and embrace base ball, hamburgers and democracy. The people of Iran have suffeed under the current regime for long enough, they're not as popular as they were, but if theres one thing that will make people rally around an unpopular leadership it's oreign intererance.
Avoiding war is always a good thing, if things can be solved in other ways, but sometimes they can't be, when you've got a Putin or a Hitler and maybe even an Ayatollah, these people have a logic and a narrative thats not open to outside views.
I think we will have to wait a few days to see what Iran's reaction will be, both the Iranian leadership and it's people. But don't forget if you kill one ayatollah there's plenty more clergy ready to step into his shoes, just like when a Pope dies, there's always others.
