How are we coping with the heatwave?

Unusually for me I'm doing alright, we do have a little breeze here which is helping and it's "only" 27.C, it should start getting cooler for us tomorrow and sunday, which will be very welcome. Fearn and I went to the beach this morning and had a paddle, neither of us swim, Fearn's a bit nervous about swimming as she's not really built for it, her paws are to narrow  and I swim like a brick!

  • I remember 2022 and 40°c.  Now that was a heatwave.  30°c is nothing to worry about.  Just enjoy it while it lasts.  Winter is just around the corner.

  • No, Robert, 30.C is a lot to worry about for those of us who don't manage with heat very well, saying that it was 40.C a couple of years ago, so don't complain about 30.C is like telling someone they should be greatful for only being kicked in the head and not in the ribs too.

It's so humid and sticky today, yesterday it was hot and misty at the same time, felt like we were being poached! I quite like winter, at least in winter you can put more clothes on, when its this hot and you're stripped down to skin and you're still to hot there's nowhere else to go.
