Dubai chocolate: What is so special about it?

Hi again, all. Grinning

Foods made with pistachio, particularly chocolate, has been quite trendy over the last year or so. But what exactly is so great about it? Pretty much every supermarket now and chocolate manufacturers have joined in on the bandwagon. It's everywhere.

A chocoalte bar containing pistachio cream, sesame paste and kataifi (shredded pastry) doesn't sound all that appetising to me and looks like mold. Though the pistachio cream on its own probably wouldn't be too bad.

Have you tried Dubai chocolate? If so, what did you think of it?

  • I have tasted a best guess copy of Dubai chocolate and it was pleasant, but not something I would be going out of my way to source in the future. The real Dubai chocolate would have had a much smoother filling and might have tasted nicer, but I am not going to spend a fortune to find out.
