Dubai chocolate: What is so special about it?

Hi again, all. Grinning

Foods made with pistachio, particularly chocolate, has been quite trendy over the last year or so. But what exactly is so great about it? Pretty much every supermarket now and chocolate manufacturers have joined in on the bandwagon. It's everywhere.

A chocoalte bar containing pistachio cream, sesame paste and kataifi (shredded pastry) doesn't sound all that appetising to me and looks like mold. Though the pistachio cream on its own probably wouldn't be too bad.

Have you tried Dubai chocolate? If so, what did you think of it?

Sounds like the confectionaries are trying to create something different by jamming a load of stuff together and pretending it is the emperors new clothes (Hans Christian Andersen reference) - by creating hype around it then it must be good.

Sounds like a marketing campaign with more money than content to me.
