Anti Social Behaviour from neighbours

My son has autism and anxiety/depression and we live in a ground floor flat which adapted as I also have disabilities.

Recently new neighbours moved in upstairs single mom with young child and anti social behaviour goes on 247 at weekends when her boyfriend comes over.  And there's issues during week as well.

As its council property I've reported it to housing officer since March giving her a weekly.log with times what's happening.  I have email from my sons Mentor about the excess noise and sent that onto housing officer and I'm at the point i can't live like this anymore and my sons is on edge all the time.

As anyone been through this and found anyone other than local  housing officer who can help.

Thank you

  • I live in social housing and had ASB from a neighbor for  four years. I had contact with the Housing Association and the local policing team who were helpful. I am involved with Social Housing Action Campaign who have also helped me with advice. Maybe they could possibly advise you? There is a lot of information on their website. Stay strong, it is not a nice experience I know.

  • Thank you so much for the recommation to social housing action campaign their website has been so much help and I've already asked for an ASB Case Reiew as I've report every day incidents since March, you only need 3 in 6 months so I've reported a fair few.  Waiting on mediation and asking for a think it was an N16a as well in the mediation meeting.
