Grinding teeth / jaw clenching

Hi all

I have just been thinking about a lot of my teeth and jaw issues may relate to my frequent teeth grinding and or jaw clenching.

Anybody else suffer with this issue? And if so have you found anything to help? Are chew toys any good was just looking at them but not sure….any thoughts would be very welcome .

Had a lot of jaw and tooth pain and stiffness this week….

  • Hi yes I clench my teeth, it gave me terrible headaches and I cracked some of my teeth. In the end I got a made to fit mouth guard from a private dentist. But it was expensive - around £400. I use it at night and I did find it really hard and uncomfortable at first. I would take it out in my sleep. But I’m used to it now. Even though I don’t like it, it’s better than without. I forgot it recently on a night away and I woke in the night with a headache and aching jaw.
