Grinding teeth / jaw clenching

Hi all

I have just been thinking about a lot of my teeth and jaw issues may relate to my frequent teeth grinding and or jaw clenching.

Anybody else suffer with this issue? And if so have you found anything to help? Are chew toys any good was just looking at them but not sure….any thoughts would be very welcome .

Had a lot of jaw and tooth pain and stiffness this week….

  • Every time I go the dentist they always mention that I have excessive wear on my back teeth. I'm obviously very aware that I grind my teeth, I've tried various guards but I just chew through them.

    My dentist even suggested having Botox injections into my jaw muscles to weaken my bite, I declined the offer.

    I'm feeling a bit more stressed than usual and my jaw and teeth are currently quite tender.
